World Pancreatic Cancer Day 2022
World Pancreatic Cancer Day was established in 2014 to "shed light" and turn the spotlight on a very aggressive and still too little known pathology. #ItsAboutTime is a campaign that acts on several fronts: the time has come to learn about the symptoms and risk factors of the disease, the time has come to involve institutions to improve patients' conditions, the time has come to obtain more funds for scientific research.
The Pierluigi Natalucci Association Together for Art and Science (APINAS), chaired by Prof. Roberta Di Pietro since 2018, the year of its foundation, organizes a live streaming event for World Pancreatic Cancer Day in the Chamber Magna of the "Corradino D'Ascanio" High School to sensitize teachers and students to prevention and the adoption of correct lifestyles, from a healthy diet to stopping smoking, as well as listening to even non-specific signals that the body sends us to arrive at a earlier diagnosis and, consequently, more effective therapy.
